Phosphene is an abstract film relating to my personal mental health struggle. Over the past year, as an artists, I have found mental health to be a huge obstacle in my thinking. With this video, I wanted to use the idea of phosphenes (a ring or spot of light produced by pressure on the eyeball or direct stimulation of the visual system other than by light.) to demonstrate the interior chaos someone can feel in any given moment. In the video, everything has a symbolic meaning to something in my life personally that has cause either uncertainty within myself or can contribute to the uncertainty of one's mental health.
